My typical client is a child, adolescent, or young adult struggling with depression/anxiety, ADHD or high functioning ASD. Problems with adaptation to school, peers, home life, work and community bring havoc and heartache to the client, parents, teacher, classroom or social life.
Underachievement, conflict with parents and siblings, damaged self-esteem, or issues navigating healthy friendships are the norm for the population I treat. Parents and teachers look to me for guidance in helping coach to better choices, improved school functioning, and overall psychological health. I use strategic tools and templates to fulfill these goals.
I specialize in building trusting relationships where I ally with the healthy side of those I treat, and bring tailored guidance and strategic psycho-educational tools to address areas of functioning where growth is needed.
As the author of The Parent Coach, I bring practical, hands-on skill building tools to the clients, parents, and teachers I treat.
